How many shows are currently playing at The Snapple Theater Center?
The Snapple Theater is home to three shows: the world's longest running musical, The Fantasticks, New York's longest running play, Perfect Crime, and Off-Broadway's newest family friendly kid's show Piggy Nation The Musical.

We also hold conferences and do one-night engagements and shorter runs of shows from time to time.

How do I get to the theater?
We have two entrances, one directly on Broadway (1627 Broadway) and one around the corner on 50th Street (210 West 50th Street).

The Broadway entrance is stairs-only while the 50th Street entrance has an elevator. For further assistance, please see the Directions Page for a map and more detail.

How can I get to The Snapple Theater from the subway?
The theater is easily accessible from nearly every line. The 1 station is practically outside our entrance. The N/Q/R station is on 49th Street and 7th Ave. The C/E station is down the street on 50th Street and 8th Ave. For additional information, including an interactive map, please visit our Directions Page.
What are the show runtimes?
The Fantasticks is 2 hours and 5 minutes with a 15 minute intermission. Perfect Crime is 1 hour and 55 minutes with a 15 minute intermission.

Is the facility handicapped accessible?
Yes the Snapple Theater Center is handicapped accessible at our 50th Street entrance. Please see the Directions Page for a map and more information.
Any assistance for the hearing impaired?
Yes, both of our theaters are outfitted with wireless IR assistive listening device transmitters. Please let them know at the Box Office if you are hearing impaired.
What is The Jerry Orbach Theater?
The third floor theater, home to the musical The Fantasticks and now Piggy Nation, is named in honor of the late Jerry Orbach. Orbach, star of tv, film, and stage, originated the role of El Gallo when the The Fantasticks opened in 1960.

Do you offer any educational or student discounts?
Yes, we offer student rates for The Fantasticks, Piggy Nation and Perfect Crime. To secure your rate please stop in at the Box Office the day of the performance and ask about the discount.
Can we meet the actors after the show?
Yes, the actors are often available for meet and greets and photo ops after performances. There is no guarantee that they will be available after every performance, but they love their fans and they do their best to make themselves accessible.
Are there any Backstage Tours?
Yes, The Fantasticks is known for its complimentary tours. They provide great insight into the world of Off-Broadway theater & an excellent photo opportunity for the kids. Tours are available to any ticket holder.
What sort of events happen at the center?
The Snapple Theater Center hosts a variety of events including corporate meetings, workshops, classes, training sessions, auditions, and more.
I'm confused; I thought you said you were on Broadway, but you're Off-Broadway? What do you mean?
Broadway and Off-Broadway are differentiated primarily by the number of seats in the theater. Broadway theaters must seat at least 500 people, whereas Off-Broadway theaters seat less than 500 and more than 99 (100-499). The Snapple Theater Center is unique in that it is an Off-Broadway theater, physically located on the street of Broadway.
